My friend Rachael has this great idea. She does a basket for seasons. She got the idea from doing it for spring instead of an Easter basket. She goes into her reasoning here. I completely agree with her. I had forgotten about it until after Easter, but with our upcoming beach trip I was excited to do a summer bucket. Instead of waiting for the actual beginning of summer, we gave the boys their buckets before our beach trip. I am so excited to gather fun stuff for their fall basket. And super pumped for some cute little leggings for Ellie (she didn't get a bucket this go round).
buckets all prepped and ready. We put in binoculars, sunglasses, diggers for the sand, coloring books, color wonder markers and paper, Cars2 cars, water squirter thingy, and some balls
To say the boys were excited is an understatement.
