fun pics

These are just some random fun pictures, some were taken before Christmas and some were taken during our Christmas festivities.

Zeke has really taken a liking to cereal, look at that smile!

Zeke LOVES his Awesome Auntie Amber (or Triple A)

"You touch my paci and I am coming after you"

Zeke really enjoys laying on a blanket and just chatting and playing us.

Shellie taught Zeke to stick out his tongue, aren't they funny?
Zeke's Uncle Matt and Aunt Tori purchased Zeke some clothing for Christmas. We live in Durham and now Zeke is ready to show off his thug gear...

Tough kid

Check out the socks, such cute feet!

See, he's not as tough as he looks, he is still our sweet boy!

Cristmas recap

We had a GREAT Christmas. It was busy, but fun! We went to Christmas Eve service at church and then spent Christmas morning just us three. Since we have yet to purchase presents for each other (Spence and I are getting a recliner for each other and we are getting Zeke a jumpy thing) there weren't any presents under the tree and it wasn't unlike any other day.
This quickly changed when we headed to Spence's parents and then to my parents. The following pictures are in no order, but show some fun times.

Spence the redneck emcee of Yankee Swap

Maddie LOVES her uncle spencer

Meredith girls
Maddie, Sierra, Shelly, me, Sophia, and Michelle

Maddie called Sierra her twin and called her shirt her twin shirt for days following Christmas, so cute!

The future Mr. and Mrs. Shelton!

Christmas Eve the Sheltons have a tradition of watching Claymation Christmas (those of you born in the 80's know what I am talking about... California Raisins singing Rudolph, can't be beat!) Zeke opened his copy Christmas Eve

He is already excited about it!

This is our happy boy and the tree

This is how Zeke spent part of Christmas at his Nana and Grandpa's

Zeke loved his keys that he got from Nana

He loves his thumb and enjoyed laying on his belly as well (YAY!)

This is Zeke after we got home with his presents

Merry Christmas

Here are some pictures that we have been holding on to for a while, but can now post because they are being given away as Christmas gifts.
Remind you of anyone?

How about now?

Is it just me or does he resemble someone else with rosy cheeks and a belly that jiggles like a bowl full of jelly?

You can't beat that smile!

Merry Christmas from our family to yours! We hope that you are able to celebrate the true meaning of this holiday- Jesus Christ our Savior's birth and share it with the ones you love.

ain't no party...

like a Summit staff party! We celebrated together Friday night, and can I just say how much I love our church and our staff. We have so much fun together. Also, HUGE thank you to the deacons and friends for watching our kiddos. What a blessing you are to us!

The bay has never looked nicer :-)
What other church staff party would have...
an ice sculpture

karaoke

and Danny Franks milking Rick Langston?

So, we had some awesome karaoke. The interns sang, people who won Hannah Montana mikes sang, a random grouping sang (this is where the milking came in- they sang the 12 days of Christmas. I guess Danny was the maid and Rick was the milking...), and then Jason treated us.

small GROUP Christmas party

My husband said that small groups should party, so while he was away that is exactly what ours did. And wow did we have fun! We started with yummy food old fashioned southern baptist potluck style. Michal had a game for the kids and then a game for everyone. There are pictures of all of that. Then we played an awesome game with just the adults that Zeke and Wendy taught us. It is called Family, I can't describe it on here with out confusing it, so just ask sometime. I had a blast with ya'll Wed night and I love that I can call you my church family.

This game was really cute. Evertime Michal said "and" or "the" while reading The Night Before Christmas, the kids passed the presents. Isaac tried to hold onto the present each time he got one, Bryson didn't hold onto a present but just passed it continually, and Addie and Ryan were convinced the bags were better presents than the wrapped tubes so they tried to get a bag with each pass. Really cute idea!

The kids table (yes Charlie sat at the kids table)

This is the other game. Each team had to blow up balloons and then stuff them into panty hose. Then the team captains had to put them on and say Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. Ryan and Addie were team captians. Here is Team Ryan stuffing.

Team Addie stuffing their balloons

Team Addie was declared the winners

Ryan as Rudolph

Then pretty much everyone wanted to be Rudolph.
Here is Callie.

Keva

and Zeke (obviously not my Zeke)

yaya's continued

Here are a couple more pictures from Yaya's and a video. You can't see the video, but you can hear Zeke laughing. My mom does such a great job at getting him to laugh. It was so funny!

This is a picture taken during the laughing in the video below.

Zeke sought revenge on Sophie, she didn't quite know what to think.

Hurry Home, Daddy!

Spence is in route! Hurray! Just thought we would share how happy we are that the daddy in our house is coming home to us.

Tagged...

We were tagged by Brooke. Here are the rules:
*open the fourth picture folder on your computer
*post the fourth picture in that folder
*explain the picture
*tag four more people.

So this is the picture that I have. This is our sweet Austin Kate. I have a folder on my computer labeled "The Browns" which holds all the pictures of the Brown family. This is AK from a couple years ago. So, this picture is pretty random...
Thanks for the fun game, Brooke!

I am tagging Jaime, Shannon C., Melody, and Shannon S. (S.S. I chose you because you are the picture queen)

Zeke's at Yaya's

Zeke and I have escaped to Yaya's (my mom's) for a couple nights to break up our week with out daddy. We have not even been here 24 hours and we have had a bunch of fun! Zeke's cousins Maddie and Sophia are here hanging out today. Zeke has gotten to do a couple of new things already while here including sitting in a high chair and sitting in a bath chair. Daddy, we hope you enjoy these pictures...

Zeke sitting in the high chair

Zeke's messy face after eating
Doesn't he look so big (and this chair conveniently covers his boy parts)
Ok, so this one he looks a little like that creepy guy hanging out in the hot tub...

Zeke's cousin Sophia doesn't like pacifiers, but anything Zeke touches, she thinks she needs to have. Here she had found his paci and was loving it!

Look how happy she is with it.

All she did was chew on it.

Triumphant child

Zeke's nana bought him this cute shirt.

This statement could not be closer to the truth...
