First Sleepover

We had our first friend sleepover.  Max came over for a couple nights after his little brother broke his leg.  We decided to have a blast together.  We saw a movie, went on walks, played a ton, and even worked out together.  We love how well our boys get along.  We have been blessed with this friendship.

Loved the movie!

10 year anniversary photo shoot

Spence and I celebrated our 10th anniversary on the 9th of July.  The weekend before, my cousin Kristin snapped some pictures of our family to honor the occasion.  I actually put my wedding dress back on and had Spence suit up.  We headed to my parents farm because they have the best places to take pictures.  It's just beautiful there.  Here are my favorite pics from that day:

First day of school

Well, we did it.  We sent him to kindergarten.  I walked him and neither of us cried... well I didn't cry until I got back to the car.  He had a great first day.  He was a bit nervous, but we are really excited about his school and the year he is going to have.  And for now, we just know we have to make it to July 26 and then he has a break ;)

First day of school pic!
Ben wasn't as excited as Zeke

Once he got settled, he hugged me and let me leave

Today is 10 years that we have been married.  I have had the honor to love this man for more of my life than I haven't.  I love the beautiful mess of a life we have created together.  And I feel so blessed to walk through everything together.
Here is a top ten of our first ten years of marriage:
*we have lived in 4 homes
*we have 4 awesome kids
*Spence earned one grad degree
*we still dream big together
*we have only both worked full time at the same time for a year and a half total- the first year of our marriage and then for 6 months before Zeke was born
*Spence wrote a book
*we have loved and grieved Rae's death
*I am taking us on a crazy hippy oil journey
*we have dated each other the entire time
*we both worked on staff at the church

Haddie and I headed to Murfreesboro for a few days.  It was so so so so so good to visit Keva and the family.  We had such a great time just hanging out and chatting.  I love getting to get a glimpse of what her daily life is like.  When they lived here, we saw each other at least 3 times a week so I knew basically all the details of their day to day.  So it is awesome getting to reconnect and live for a bit together instead of miles and miles apart.

Haddie is a great traveler

BONUS- I got to see Shannon who recently moved to TN and Tori who is a mom to 3 now since the last time I visited.

Selfie fun

Not a bad pic taken by a kiddo (and finally a picture of us together!)

Us and our wild crew because we always forget to take pictures when we are together.

This adorable girl.  She has taken a huge liking to all foods, but especially ones she can pick up and eat.  She is army crawling all over.  Can sit herself up from laying down. She isn't sleeping through the night right now because we finally gave her a crib and she is getting adjusted to that plus getting some teeth.  She wears size 3 diapers, is 18 pounds, wearing 9-12 month clothes.  She babbles a ton.  Still loves her thumb and sticking out her tongue.
