A weeeeeee bit late, but because I am late I am doing a few extra pictures

This adorable girl.  She has taken a huge liking to all foods, but especially ones she can pick up and eat.  She is army crawling all over.  Can sit herself up from laying down. She isn't sleeping through the night right now because we finally gave her a crib and she is getting adjusted to that plus getting some teeth.  She wears size 3 diapers, is 18 pounds, wearing 9-12 month clothes.  She babbles a ton.  Still loves her thumb and sticking out her tongue.

She is a half a year.  We have survived as parents of four for six months!  She is sitting up, rolling all over and really wants to crawl.  We haven't started solids with her yet because she is just not interested.  She is babbling.  She has regressed in sleeping, but goes right back to sleep after I feed her.  She is wearing 6-9 month clothes, size 2 diapers, and weighs 16 pounds.

Three months

Our Haddie girl is 3 months!  She sleeps through the night and is so easy going.  She smiles all the time.  She especially loves her siblings.  

Birthday Girl!

Our Ellie girl is one!  I can't believe our sweet laid back babe is getting so big.  She is taking a few steps, but doesn't seem too interested in really taking off.  She wears size 3 diapers and 12 month clothes.  She says almost anything we say, except Ben.  She refuses to even try to say Ben and instead just shakes her head and says no. Zeke she tries and actually does really well.  She sleeps 2 naps still and goes down easily at night.  She is so laid back and sweet.  It's so funny to see the differences between her and the boys.  She loves babies and snuggling. 

 

11 months girl

We can hardly believe that in 1 month, Ellie will be a year old.  It seems like she has just been here for so long.  And then at the same time it seems like yesterday that I was miserable and wanting her to come on out!  She is so laid back and sweet.  She just goes with whatever we are doing, which is good in this crazy world that she is living in.  She is wearing mostly 12 month clothing and size 3 diapers.  She still takes 2 naps and sleeps all night.  She gave up nursing a couple weeks ago and that has been a challenge.  She has never liked bottles and doesn't seem to like cups.  After trying 13 different ones, we have discovered that she will drink from a straw.  This was after getting desperate a few times and feeding her liquids through medicine droppers.  (so I guess she isn't laid back in this area, ha).  She still doesn't crawl, but scoots everywhere on her bottom.

Still a pretty good sleeper overall.  We have had to go back and do some sleep training, which is no fun, but so worth it to get her back on track

She loves a bow and will point to her hair when you ask her where her bow is.

She is all over the place.  She may not crawl, but there is no stopping her

Ellie 10 months

Our big girl!  We have had to do some sleep training this month, and after a week of random 2 hour long crying jags in the middle of the night, we are sleeping through the night again!  It has been a rough road from Disney, to teething, to colds and we are glad to be back on track again.  She hasn't changed a ton this month.  She has gotten louder.  She squeals and chases the boys when she is in the walker.  She does this awesome scooting thing on her bottom to get where she wants to go.  She just wiggles all over to get whatever she wants.  She has limited her vocab this month to just yelling dadada.  She has 4 teeth, wearing 9-12 month clothes and size 3 diapers.

Ellie 9 months

Ellie is 9 months.  I will soon be planning her first birthday... OK let's just stop before the tears start coming.  This was a busy month just like the past few.  With Halloween and her first Cornhuskin, plus just everyday stuff, she has grown a ton.  We went to the dr. for her check up and she is 20 pounds and 13 ounces putting her in the 85%, 27.5 inches long- 50%, and her head is 75%.  Spence has asked if she needs to go on diet breastmilk :) She is wearing mostly 9 month, but some 12 month stuff.  Still in size 3 diapers.  We have to keep shoes on her (just the Robeez types) so that she will keep socks on.  She doesn't crawl yet or even try to get on all fours.  She is kind of doing a scooting on her bottom or wiggles and rolls around.  She lights up at her brothers.  Loves peek-a-boo.  Says dada the most, but has said mama, nigh nigh (for night night), bbb (for bye bye), and hey.

Ellie's 8 months

Ellie is 8 months.  She has changed so much this past month.  She is chattering up a storm.  She has said dada, hey dada, hey, and mama (but only said that twice).  She loves her toungue and sticks it out all the time.  She hasn't been sleeping so great because I think those teeth are going to finally pop through sometime soon.  She is wearing 6-9 month clothes but can wear some 12 month stuff.  She fits best into clothing that is just 9 months.  She wears size 3 diapers.  She is still great at nursing.  She chews a paci or her fingers or whatever toy she can get her hands on.  She can roll both ways but generally refuses to roll off her stomach.  She practically folds herself in half when sitting up and she wants to reach for something.  She is still roly poly and awesomely chubby.  She watches her brothers intently.  She eats puffs and mum mums like a champ.  Her favorite food is avocados and she seems to prefer veggies over fruits (say what?!) She takes her socks off as fast as you can get them on her.  She laughs and squeals and is just LOUD.  I'm pretty sure she is gonna be a wild girl.
