9 months

Zeke is 9 months today! It is amazing to watch him each day. When we went to the dr this week we got the latest on his stats: 20lbs, 10 oz- 50%, 28.25 in-50%, and his head was also 50%. He has finally started leveling out.
Zeke has changed a ton in the last month! I think he is losing that baby look and looking like such a big boy. He has become much more inquisitive recently. He looks at any sound that he hears. He responds when we talk to him with all kinds of fun sounds. He now has five teeth- three on the top and two on the bottom. He is not crawling, but that doesn't stop him from getting anything he wants. He rolls, sometimes in a continuously line and at other times he kind of wiggles back and forth to get to exactly what he wants. He is not pulling up on stuff, but will pull to standing while holding our hands. He says mama and I am pretty sure he knows that is who I am. (he actually said it last week while looking at the door I had just walked out) He says dada, very infrequently- we all know this means he loves me more :-) He has now been totally on formula for a week. He can hold his bottle on his own. Since transitioning over to bottles, he has gotten much more interested in his daddy. When he sees Spence, he lights up. He has even started fussing when Spence leaves a room. He is eating more and more finger foods. He really enjoys holding a banana and biting it. His favorite foods are still avocado, sweet potatoes, and yogurt. And sleeping issues have pretty much been worked out. He sometimes sleeps through the night (it has now happened a total of 5 times in the past three months- 3 in a row when he turned 6 months, and two nights in a row this past weekend). He goes down for 2 or 3 naps each day with little to no crying.
We love him so much and still can't believe how blessed we have already been in the past 9 months. We praise God that we have such a happy, healthy baby!
