3 months

Our girl is 3 months.  She has grown a ton this month.  She now weighs 13.5 pounds.  She is wearing 3 month clothes, but won't be for long.  We moved into size 2 diapers.  Her brothers are still enamored with her.  They ask to hold her, talk to her often, tell us how much she likes them and will even sing to help calm her down sometimes. Ellie not only smiles at us, but coos and talks with us.  She still enjoys snuggles and being worn in the Moby.  We haven't checked her into nursery yet, because she usally does so well and sleeps right through. We think she looks like Zeke at this age.  I need to do a side by side comparison of the boys are here.  Be on the lookout for that.

 Ellie loves bathtime.  She kicks and coos the whole time.

 She found her tongue this month and will copy you if you stick out yours

 Baby girl likes to sleep!  She has gone 7 hour stretches and usually will go 5 hours every night

 It took awhile, but miss loves her daddy

 Ellie likes to be swaddled half way. 

 She can be quite serious at times

But also pretty outrageous as well.

It is my greatest joy to be your mother.  Thank you for making this Mother's Day so sweet.

The Produce Box

This greets me each Thursday between the hours of 10-2.  Inside are yummy delicious fruits and veggies.  All of them are from local farms and are so fresh.  We haven't even made it to pick strawberries yet because the ones we are getting are so yummy.  If you are in the area I highly recommend you looking into joining.  You can get more info here, but these are the hard and fast facts according to me.  You can choose out of a few different boxes (one is always organic, one is always fruit only, and one is a cheaper and smaller box), you can skip at anytime, and there are extras that you can add to your order (extras of the produce or sometimes bread or herbs or other things).  So far, we have thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to Thursdays each week.

Cute, Squishy, Cottonball Baby

A friend's 7 year old recently described Ellie as a cute, squishy cottonball.

I can't imagine where he got this idea...

I mean, really, this kid isn't fluffy at all

The Doxology

This is Zeke's favorite new song they sing at bedtime.  Our new cd Jesus In My Place has a song "We Worship You With Praise" and it has the doxology in it.  The boys flip out everytime they hear it.  At the concert, both boys belted this one out.

Amazing Grace

This chica has decided that she might just like sleeping.  She has gone a few big stretches!  I'm talking a 7 hour one Sunday night!  HOLLA!
