Brothers

This is just a bunch of pictures from the past few months of the boys.  They are the best of buddies (and at times the worst of enemies).  They miss each other when the other is away.  They are so different from each other, but would choose to play together over anyone else.  We pray they will be lifelong friends and spur one another on toward Christ

On a walk and they decided to hold hands

They are getting to the point where they can play games together with out us (YES!)

One day they were fighting, I made them hold hands for 5 minutes.

They boys enjoyed working in the yard together during the spring with dad

This hand holding was all by choice.  I glanced back and saw them and had to snag the pic

First snoball of the year, woo hoo!!!

Everything else from July

So, here is a photo dump of every other picture from this month.  Get your big girl/guy pants on because there are a lot.

Big baby in a little tub

 Scooting around the neighborhood

Ben completed his first Kumon book.  He more or less ZIPPED right thorugh with out really caring about what he was actually doing, but he finished it and was super proud.

 Pipecleaners and beads

Stringing those beads fills up some time

 The YaYa and kiddos

 The Nana and kiddos

July 4 cookout at the Franks house

The boys first time with a slip n slide, they LOVED it and were pros by the end of the night

HA!  It looks like she only has one foot because she is jumping already, it's her first time in the jumper

This is how she sits in the bouncy seat most days

Nothing better than an afternoon shower to make for some fun puddle splashing

These are my flipping cool kids

Zeke's Kumon book.  He was working through the alphabet one, but saw the number one recently and wanted to jump into it.  So, we are about 3/4's of the way through ABC's and 1/3 through numbers.

Hey, Ben, give me thumbs up

Mamas do what mamas gotta do when the littlest one needs to eat.

 Our first prayground experience

The boys LOVED it.  I just wish this park were here and not in McLeansville

Ellie shoved her thumb into the paci and then into her mouth.  I'm thinking teething much

 Race time

 Bampa and Ben

We found the cutest squishiest cottonball marshmallow baby at the Disney store

Isn't she lovely? Isn't she wonderful?

Wore that baby out (and wore that bathing suit out, it was retired after this wearing)

Our crazy wild boys, we love us some Max (and Charlie)

They are so sweet...

when they are asleep.  These boys have been found in such funny sleeping positions and places lately.  Here are the ones I managed to capture.

Ben sneaks up after Zeke has fallen asleep

We think he sleeps better with someone else in the bed

which is why he joins us in our bed a lot of nights

Zeke doesn't seem to mind it when he sleeps with him though, look closely at their hands

Zeke tends to only actually nap when we put him in our bed for naptime

Ben fell asleep on the couch one day when he didn't sleep at nap time

never can have too many of these for future blackmailing

and sometimes a twin size bed just isn't big enough for mighty boy

Buddies

I recently asked my boys if they were best friends.  They quickly responded, "no, we're brothers!"

They talk to each other all day... and sometimes all night

They make up games with each other

 They make plans together

 and sleep together

 They are silly together

 And they eat together

 They are adventurous together

 and they share

 They wrestle

and they are best friends

It's a bird, it's a plane...

NO! It's Super Zeke and Super Ben!  I had been eyeballing these super cute capes on pinterest for awhile now.  I finally just grabbed a couple of Spence's shirts and went to work cutting them.  Ben's was my first attempt and it works pretty good, but I made some adjustments to Zeke's and his looks more like a real cape.  I plan to remake Ben's but for now he is happy with what he has.
