Playing with picasa

I have been doing a little playing (not a lot- I don't have that much time...) with picasa's black and white feature. I LOVE b&w pics, but rarely think about chaning over our pictures. Here are some that I played with recently...

Spence's favorite

I like that you can see Zeke actually taking the step

Looking up at the trees

This one I did a soft focus around the edges also, so cool!

I love this one!!

Moving on up...

We aren't sure if Zeke's room is on the eastside, but we have the room set up. After lots of consideration, I went with the same fabric as with the nursery. I just loved it so much! As you can see though, I went another direction with the new room. I am so excited to have used the same fabric in two different ways. Jen Heidorn, AMAZING, made all our stuff again and blew me away once again. We are still waiting to get a dresser/changing table and I need to put stuff on the walls. I am moving over the pictures over his crib and changing table to the same places in the new room. We are also getting some cool handmade wall art made and will post pictures as soon as I get it up (it may be a while because I am getting it right near when Benjamin should be making an appearance). I was nervous about this room because I LOVE Zeke's first room so much. It is everything I had ever pictured for our nursery. I am now just as excited about his big boy room. It is so fun with the green and brown! I know it is a room he will be able to grow in.

Poor picture taking, not slanted stripes :-)

We had friends stay with us and they used the swing- it will be removed before Zeke moves in.

Ray Family Cookout

Every year my mom's side of the family has a cookout at the Burlington City Park. Our favorite part each year is riding the train and merry-go-round with everyone. Because of time getting away from us, we weren't able to join in on the rides fun this year, but look forward to it next year. We were able to get some good pictures though. Including the only picture we have of my side of the family all together since before Zeke was born. We definitely need to get better about taking group pictures in the future.

Zeke enjoyed making everyone walk around with him

I got some great pics of Spence and Zeke walking around

Check out that grin!!

Zeke loved the trees

Our family of 3 and a half

This is about all the interaction Zeke and Sophie had with each other

When we tried to get Sophie to talk to Zeke, she would say "no" and run the opposite direction

Laundry today or naked tomorrow

I borrowed this title from a friend. She paints some of the coolest stuff. Seriously, you should check her out..
But onto the post. Zeke helped with laundry the other day. I think it may be easier to just do it while he sleeps in the future.

He had no trouble climbing in...

but once in, he realized he did not like it!

Beginning his helping process

He only went after these two towels

But he carted them all over the house

What you looking at?

I got these super cute sunglasses from Baby Banz. This was the first time Zeke wore them. I purchased the size that is supposed to fit until he is 2 years old, but I am thinking we may be saving these for baby Ben. I can't wait to order the next pair. He actually wore them and really didn't mind or try to pull them off (a first for sunglasses for us). Isn't he too cute in them!

Zeke update

Zeke is doing much better today. Here are a couple pics we took with the webcam. He was much more interested in hitting the buttons. But I did want to let everyone know that we are having a MUCH better day!

I really hope he doesn't touch something that will break everything

I don't think that is how you eat that...

Best buddies

Zeke LOVES his dada. I am talking in a for real serious way. It is so cute to see their interactions. I love how Zeke lights up when he sees Spence. I really love the way Spence lights up when he sees Zeke. He is definitely the best daddy!!

This is where Zeke hangs out everyday to wait for Spence to get home

This is our first walking hand in hand picture-
I could seriously cry over this one

Spence even climbs into the little house to play with Zeke

I have never driven the stang, but Zeke has!
