Everything else from July

So, here is a photo dump of every other picture from this month.  Get your big girl/guy pants on because there are a lot.

Big baby in a little tub

 Scooting around the neighborhood

Ben completed his first Kumon book.  He more or less ZIPPED right thorugh with out really caring about what he was actually doing, but he finished it and was super proud.

 Pipecleaners and beads

Stringing those beads fills up some time

 The YaYa and kiddos

 The Nana and kiddos

July 4 cookout at the Franks house

The boys first time with a slip n slide, they LOVED it and were pros by the end of the night

HA!  It looks like she only has one foot because she is jumping already, it's her first time in the jumper

This is how she sits in the bouncy seat most days

Nothing better than an afternoon shower to make for some fun puddle splashing

These are my flipping cool kids

Zeke's Kumon book.  He was working through the alphabet one, but saw the number one recently and wanted to jump into it.  So, we are about 3/4's of the way through ABC's and 1/3 through numbers.

Hey, Ben, give me thumbs up

Mamas do what mamas gotta do when the littlest one needs to eat.

 Our first prayground experience

The boys LOVED it.  I just wish this park were here and not in McLeansville

Ellie shoved her thumb into the paci and then into her mouth.  I'm thinking teething much

 Race time

 Bampa and Ben

We found the cutest squishiest cottonball marshmallow baby at the Disney store

Isn't she lovely? Isn't she wonderful?

Wore that baby out (and wore that bathing suit out, it was retired after this wearing)

Our crazy wild boys, we love us some Max (and Charlie)

Sink Bath

Ellie has way outgrown her little bathtub.  I have loaned out our little bath seat and can't remember who has it (if you have it, Ellie would love it to be returned).  Until then, we are trying out the sink.

Mom, do you know what you are doing here?

OH, ok, it's a bath, I like those

Correction, I LOOOOVE baths!

They are so sweet...

when they are asleep.  These boys have been found in such funny sleeping positions and places lately.  Here are the ones I managed to capture.

Ben sneaks up after Zeke has fallen asleep

We think he sleeps better with someone else in the bed

which is why he joins us in our bed a lot of nights

Zeke doesn't seem to mind it when he sleeps with him though, look closely at their hands

Zeke tends to only actually nap when we put him in our bed for naptime

Ben fell asleep on the couch one day when he didn't sleep at nap time

never can have too many of these for future blackmailing

and sometimes a twin size bed just isn't big enough for mighty boy

It's impossible to get a good picture

of all three kids at the same time!  But here are a couple of my latest attempts...

OK, not really an attempt, but you can get behind me in being thankful for Target, BIG A buggies, and the snack bar.  Can I get an AMEN?!

OK, 2 out of 3... not so bad...

 OK, everyone look at mama!

Quick!  Before Ellie rolls, Ben please lay back down, look this way...

Science experiments

I am always looking for new activites to do with the boys.  Right now I am all about things we can do inside out of the gosh awful heat!  I saw this idea on Pinterest and knew my boys would love it.  It is so easy and uses things I always have on hand.  AND bonus, it keeps my boys busy for about 45 minutes (and would longer but they run out of the vinegar that quick)

All you have to do is pour some baking soda into a container of some kind.  I may try just putting it into our art trays next time instead of in the pyrex.  Then you add some food coloring to some vinegar in seperate cups.  (we use our little bathroom cups and I allow the boys to choose 3 colors each)

Give each boy a medicine dropper and let the experimenting begin!  They love how it bubbles and makes "volcanoes!"  We also talk about the colors mixing and what colors are made.

Roly Poly Ellie

Ellie learned to roll from belly to back but then didn't do it again for a few weeks.  I finally caught her on camera!  She does it so quickly though I barely catch it.

CINCO!

This past month has been so fun!  Ellie has started laughing and cooing so much.  She is turning into quite the sleeper.  We have even had 3 12 hours nights!  Mama, likes this.  If only her big brother would catch on and do the same :-\  This isn't a doctor visit month, but we will be going to get a shot at the end of the month and will get her updated weight then.  I am going to guess she is about 17 pounds.  She has become quite the chatty girl and laughs out loud often.  Ellie learned to roll over from belly to back on July 4th at a cookout.  She hasn't done it again though :-\  Here are a TON of pictures from the month

I love this sweet dress and just want to remember it

She prefers to chew on pacis but I keep trying to get her to take one

These rolls multiply by the hour

I feel so bad for her, she gets dragged around everywhere her brothers want to go.  In order to help with the heat at the pool, park or even just our house I have a little fan for her

She likes nakey time

Isn't this the sweetest bracelet

We love the jammies that our friend Ashley got her

She quickly figured out the jumper and loves it.

Zeke is still pretty interested in her and enjoys holding her (but isn't the one to suggest it usually)

This bathtub must be shrinking!

Zeke prefers to read or sing to her

Ben loves holding her, even though she weighs about half of him
